filesinpdf.com is a free, web-based tool that allows users to upload PDF files, detect files embedded within them, and download those embedded files individually or as a ZIP archive. No user registration is required.

2. Acceptable Use

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

You are the owner of the uploaded file, or you have the legal right to process and extract its contents.
You will not upload files containing illegal content, including but not limited to malware, copyrighted material you do not have rights to, or content that violates applicable laws.
You will not attempt to disrupt, overload, or otherwise interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
You will not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

3. File Processing and Data Retention

Uploaded files are processed entirely in memory. No files are written to permanent storage.
All uploaded data and extracted files are automatically and permanently deleted from memory shortly after upload.
The Service does not retain, analyze, share, or sell any uploaded content.
You are solely responsible for saving any extracted files before the session expires.

4. File Size and Format Limits

The maximum file size for uploads is 10 MB.
Only files in PDF format are accepted.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. The operator does not warrant that:

The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.
The extraction results will be complete or accurate for all PDF files.
The Service will be free of viruses or other harmful components.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data or loss of profits.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its underlying code are the property of the operator. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to the source code, design, or branding of the Service.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service uses a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool to collect aggregated, anonymous usage data. This includes information such as pages visited, referring sources, browser type, operating system, device type, and country. No personal data or cross-site identifiers are collected. 9. Modifications to the Terms

The operator reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
